Harvey began his career in the insurance industry with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1987 and became a sole proprietor in 1994. He obtained his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow designation during his time at Metlife. He has expertise in disability income insurance, employee benefit policies, long-term care insurance, annuities, supplemental retirement plans, and estate planning. He holds a Life, Accident, Health & HMO license.
Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, Harvey moved to the United States at age 10 and traveled with his immigrant family working on farms.
He specializes in life insurance and employee benefit plans and especially enjoys working with small business owners. He has maintained many of his client relationships for nearly 15 years. Harvey is passionate about and rewarded by what he does and truly cares about doing the right thing for every client.
He has served as President of Camara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston since 2006 and has been involved with this organization since 2000. He has been a member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in the Judging Contest Committee since 2003. Harvey is currently serving as a board member of CANCARE.
Kathy Garza, Vice President and co-owner of Memorial Financial Services Corp.
Kathy began her insurance career in 1998 with a 12-year background in the commercial real estate industry. She holds a Life, Accident, Health & HMO license.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Kathy has always worked in the small & medium sized business setting. She specializes in employee benefit plans, ranging from health insurance, dental insurance, group life, short term and long term disability plans, as well as individual health insurance.
Kathy has been a member of the Women’s Business Support Network for 13 years and has held various positions within the organization. She is a current member of National Association of Health Underwriters and the Texas Association of Health Underwriters. She also serves on the advisory board of CANCARE.
